Alexey Berezka
I bridge engineering practice and strategic thinking to help manufacturing companies make sense of AI adoption. Background in embedded systems at ZF and data analytics, now researching decision frameworks for industrial SMEs at KIT.
Engineering meets strategic thinking
I'm finishing my M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering & Management at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT HECTOR School). My thesis research focuses on designing a multi-criteria decision model for evaluating AI-based image processing adoption in manufacturing SMEs.
Before KIT, I spent four years at ZF Engineering developing embedded control systems for commercial vehicles, and worked as a data analytics engineer building predictive models. This combination of hands-on engineering and analytical thinking shapes how I approach digital transformation — grounded in real-world constraints, not just theory.
Where I've worked & studied
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
Designing a multi-criteria decision model for AI adoption in manufacturing SMEs. Conducting expert interviews, literature review, and methodology development under Prof. Hein.
ZF Engineering
Built embedded control systems for commercial vehicles. Implemented Flash Emulated EEPROM in C/C++, reduced validation cycles by 25% through automated HiL testing, and supported release stability across cross-functional teams.
RPA "Typhoon"
Designed measurement systems for aviation weather monitoring. Developed sensor-based data acquisition in a regulated environment requiring documentation rigor.
Stream
Built predictive models for customer segmentation using SAS and Python. Automated reporting processes, reducing manual workload by 40%.
Things I've built
The Tree AI
Personal AI assistant on Telegram with three communication personas, voice recognition, text-to-speech, and smart home control. Runs 24/7 on a self-hosted server.
Investment Telegram Bots
Automated pipeline that collects market data, generates analysis, and publishes insights to investment-focused Telegram channels on schedule.
Self-Hosted Cloud
Personal infrastructure on Hetzner VPS: workflow automation (n8n), DNS ad-blocking, reverse proxy — all in Docker.
3D Printing
Designing and producing 3D-printed products — refrigerator magnets of local landmarks, custom functional prints, and STL models for download.
Let's talk
Whether it's about AI adoption in manufacturing, a collaboration, or a custom 3D print — I'd like to hear from you.
